At TransCorp we recognize that investor relations is a two-way street. We want to initiate an engagement with all our market constituencies that would lead to the fair valuation of our shares and reduce the cost of capital for our company.
The goal of investor relations at TransCorp is to develop and execute strategies for the enhancement of investment viability attributes such as shareholder care, stock liquidity and improved disclosure.
Our responsibilities in investor relations are two-fold:
- First, we are committed to treating each shareholder with respect because we acknowledge that investors are the providers of the capital that we seek to turn to increased value;
- Second, we strive to keep the market informed in a timely manner of all price sensitive corporate information.
Our investor relations program aims to do the following:
- Develop a relationship built on trust and transparency with our shareholders. Our goal is to lay the foundations for shareholder trust of our Board and management decisions, judgment, plans as focused on the creation and increase of value;
- Develop responsive channels for the reception of feedback from each of TransCorp financial community constituencies;
- Achieve a fair market valuation for our shares;
- Attain a good level of liquidity in TransCorp shares;
- Ensure easier and cheaper access to capital in the future.
We understand that the market cannot value what it neither understands nor sees. For this reason, we have placed disclosure and communication, as well as shareholder care, at the core of our investor relations program.
